Holy Copernicus!

Dear Space Invaders,

I am sorry. I have not written in 7 light years. There were so many dirty spaces to clean, I don't know how long this dirt war is gonna last.

Co-op America has issued their latest green cleaning tips. We are slowly turning "green" ourselves. RM is using bleach without chlorine. We also use rags, not paper towels, because you can't recycle them. Since recycling is part of the law in NYC, the attitude around here in Planet NYC is going green. But going green is not all about the environment, it's about health. Certain cleaning products have ingredients that can make you sick.

For those humanoids that read my blog (the two of you) you know how attached I am with FANTASTIK. Well no more. Plus it's so expensive, how about that? You pay them to slowly kill you artificially.

Oi,enough with these deep thoughts, I know. I will hook you guys up with the co-op america link:

Until then, If you want an end to the dust and grime war you have in your space, call Rocket Maid!

Smell you later

Rocket Maid wishes you a happy Earth Day!

Dear Space Invaders,

Happy Earth Day! I love all the planets in the solar system, but I love the planet Earth the most. There is a special blog I like to read about recycling and such goodies.
It's called Co-op America. I discovered this cool place when searching for clothing companies that use child labor. They blow up spots on Gap, Banana Republic, etc without sounding like elitist's.

Here's their link:
https://www.coopamerica.org/about/

There is so much more to these guys, check this out: How to Retire a Millionare in a Better World http://www.coopamerica.org/pubs/fph/retirement.cfm

It's a cool website overall. Enjoy!

Doo-Wop is the relaxing music that makes Rocket Maid Happy!

What's up Space Invaders,

I have always loved Doo-Wop. I make this admission only because there are fake Humanoids out there claiming love for the music just cause Amy Winehouse is in style. She sings Mo-town R&B more than Doo-wop, not a lot of harmonizing (but very talented).

So, here is my ultra favorite song on a you tube clip called "I only have eyes for you"

This is what I grew up listening to and my definition of R&B.

Moving on!

Dear Space Invaders,

Move Outs are a pain in the...You want your deposit back.

Here are a few tips to make sure that you get your deposit in full.

1) Take pictures of the place
Which you should have taken them on the day that you moved in.

2) Mr. Eraser Cleaners
They work wonders on walls, dirt, finger prints, but on glossy painted walls.

3) Buy a small can of paint (ivory)
You must paint floor boards.

4) Buy Elmer's Wood Replenisher
You know you scratched the be-jesus out of the cherry wood floor in your cool S3rd apartment.

Key words: Be Pro active (not the acne cream) and be clean. I wish there was a quick fix-it for the last minute move outs, sorry.
Maintain your house spotless because you never ever know when you need to move out.

Winter Of Rocket Maid's Discontent

Dear Space Invaders,

These last three weeks have been horrendous. While fighting Commander Grime is fine and all, it takes a toll on my body. Rocket Maid will be taking a one week break starting February 15th-21st. Those who want to schedule a cleaning should do so quickly. What shall Rocket Maid do in that time?

Attack of the Clones

Dear Space Invaders,

Many of you Rocket Maid Fans are wondering "Why are they so darn special?" Well it's simple!
We care about clean homes and having a clean home is a major step not only putting order into your life, but also making your health into tip top shape. Dust is a major health concern. It affects not only your lungs but it affects one of the largest organs in your body, your skin!

With a cleaning service that is continuous, like every week, two weeks, or even once a month, makes your home and your life stable.

Look, The Rocket Maid family spends their time in a rocket ship trying to fight grime. It's our passion.

We are not just trying to make ends meet, we're trying to make a difference :)

Another concern is health. We use green products if asked. Some of you prefer the strong stuff. Just a tossed-hair heads up, companies like Johnson&Johnson are part of a government funded program established by the EPA who makes sure that they don't put dangerous chemicals in their cleaning products. It's just the beginning. Rocket Maid uses certain types of cleaning products that are approved by the EPA. The rest is just plain old vinegar, borax(on grime and mildew) and lemon juice.
We use gloves and a dust mask, although Carmen, my side kick, hates wearing it 'cause she feels like a surgeon.

There are other cleaning services that are doing what we do. We salute them!!!
When their ship runs out of gas, call us:)

Alright, I have to go.... Commander grime and enemy dirt are full attacking planet big Willie, that's where I'll be in the next three days. Call us if you are from that planet:)
